Our Sun Cobalt Raq 550 very getting old.
They have been replaced by a couple Compaq DL 380 and DL 360 servers.
They are all in production and running well.

We upgraded the main web server’s cpu to a more powerfull one. An increase in cpu computing power of 26% is to be expected.
The down time was less than 4 minutes.
One of our UPS started to behave. Instead of providing continuous power, it started to turn itself off for a few seconds and back on. This caused outage to the main web server which had to re-sync the hard drives. It happened twice.

The main web server has just been rebooted. Why? no reasons.
This server (Sun) is so stable, it is scary.
It can handle 250 hits per second without problems.
For www.e-maxx.info , the number of hits since January 2005: 3,214,735

Due to recently discovered vulnerabilities in MySQL, the database update is planned on Saturday 27th of August. There will be a service outage on http://www.tfun.org for a few minutes (databases backup, update, test).
